MC: I said this about Ambassador Keys after his remarks at our dinner earlier. I said, it’s the greatest compliment that I can think to give someone who stands (not understandable) he preaches like my pastor. Amen! (applause)
We’re asking our friends and all concerned citizens to help Pastor Parsley sound the trumpet and take the cities of America back through several initiatives that we are beginning now. A Silent No More tour in 12 cities across America to alert Christians of the critical issues of the day. To call the lost back to the living savior. A Sound the Trumpet National television. You heard what Ann Coulter said. Americans are fascinated with television and it’s not going away. If that’s what they’re watching, we need to be there to tell them the truth. A national television special that will shake this nation to its very foundation and stir its people to righteous action. And distribution of the new hardback book Silent No More. Many of you have already received a copy. To all the members of the United States Senate and the House of Representatives, the President and members of his cabinet and to every governor in the 50 states of the Untied States of America. Now these initiatives are going to require over a million dollars to launch this month. Hundreds of thousands of dollars are going to be spent in the next two weeks alone. And our question is “What will you do?”
War by its nature is a wasteful enterprise. It consumes more resources than anyone can estimate. For too long the church has wanted first class results and only make a 2nd class investment. We haven’t realized what we’re in a war. But our enemies have realized that they’re in a war, and they realize that a war consumes resources. Dr. Summeral, Pastor Parsley’s mentor and pastor for 15 years with whom he traveled around the globe, encountered a Communist on one occasion who said you Christians will never overtake the Communists. Dr. Summeral said, “What makes you make such a statement?” The Communist looked him in the eye and said, “You Christians give 10% to your cause, the Communists give 100% to theirs. “
I want you to think for a moment the commitment of our founding fathers who chose as the last words on the Declaration of Independence “We pledge our lives, our fortunes, and our sacred honor.” Now, brothers and sisters, history has not allowed, it’s made. But those who will make it only make it. And it’s wrong for us to push Pastors forward to the front lines of this conflict without our support.
So here’s what I’m asking you to do. Reach on to the little pocket in the pew in front of you there. Get one of these envelopes out that says, “The Center for Moral Clarity: alone a voice, together a force.” If you want to multiply the efforts that Pastor Parsley is making here in these next few weeks on behalf of morality in America. If you want your voice to be heard along with his voice, then it our obligation to support what it is that he said he would do. He’s saying I will be silent no more. He needs a whole lot more of us to stand, indeed, everyone of us in this room tonight, to say I will be silent no more.
And, here’s how you an do it. Read that envelope. Now tonight we’re making available for your support of $1000 or more to become founding member of the Center for Moral Clarity. For your support of only $50 or more, you can become a charter member of the Center for Moral Clarity. I believe that there are multiplied multitudes of people who will say” I don’t care about becoming a founding member or a charter member, I just want to be someone who’s doing what God requires of me now.” And that’s all we’re asking of you tonight. We’re asking for your support. Pastor Parsley needs to know that there’s someone who’s’ saying along with him, “Pastor Parsley, we are with you.. It’s just not in word, but it’s in action. It’s not just in what we say, but it’s a sacrifice that we’re willing to make to support you and to encourage you”. Everybody needs to do something. If you believe what it is that you’ve heard. If you can add your voice to what has already been spoken, and say I agree with that and I want to support that, here’s a very very important and tangible way that you can do that right now.
There’s some information that we ask for on the front of that envelope. Among is it is your email address. There’s a reason we ask you for that., so that we can give you continual updates via email, instantaneously letting you know what’s going on, programs you can support, things that we’re doing, news that effects you and your community. And, if you’re making a check, just make it payable to CMC—Center for Moral Clarity—either one of them is fine. If you’re using one of these envelopes, you have cash, you can put it in that envelope and fill out your information. If you’re using your credit card, debit card, your credit card you can fill out that information on the envelope as well. I want to encourage every one of you to do something to make sure that Pastor’s voice is heard, so that indeed, across America and beyond its boarders we will be silent no more.
I’d like you to take your gift in your hand because I’d like to ask God’s blessing on what it is that you have committed to do here tonight, and we’re going to believe God here tonight together. Because I believe that as we join together in faith, that God will do greater things even than we anticipate and expect. Let’s pray
Heavenly father, we thank you for your goodness and mercy. We thank you for bringing us to this point in our lives and in our nation’s history, and we believe, heavenly father, that we are not here by accident, but here by divine design, and we thank you for this opportunity to lift our voices against an overwhelming tide of immorality that has risen in our nation, and we are determined to do what we can and what we must to see that tide turned around. Father we thank you for everyone that’s here, for every gift that they donate themselves to give We thank you that they by their giving are saying to Pastor Parsley go stand, speak words of truth that people will hear, and lives will be changed, and a nation will be transformed. Father, we thank you for this privilege. And we give now confidently and obediently and expectantly in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savoir. Amen. Amen.
